So today the music program had demos for the 5th graders. It was...fun. :)
I lie. It was fun at first, but after the fourth time of hearing Mr.Tucker perform the same speech again and again, you get kinda bored. And your ears start to hurt after the third time of playing Little Bit O' Soul and listening to the percussion show off thier awesome drum skills and deafen the rest of us (I wore my purple earplugs XD). Plus...
We played Pirates of the Caribbean 9 times. Ouch, headache.
When Mr. Tucker introduced the instruments, us flutes planned to stand up in chair order, so it would look like a wave. Very cool, huh? Yes, I know, it sounds cool. We failed. :P
And I saw my little sister. That was interesting, since she waved frantically when they came in and sat at the opposite end of the band hall. So Mr. Tucker saw her waving to me, and was like, "You know Helena? You're related to her?! Oh, I feel so sorry for you." Lol.
BWAHAHAHAHHAHAHA. My sister, reading over my shoulder, just understood that. She's making pig noises at me.
And then, when I had to leave for my private lesson, she grabbed onto my hand and wouldnt let go, so I had to whisper very loudly to her, "SHERRY I HAVE A PRIVATE LESSON! Oh, hai, Akoshi! SHERRY, LET GO!" Haha.
So yea, it was fun. I think the best part was that we got to skip half a day of classes.
Yay, we're doing this tomorrow too.
