Happy Late Mother's Day ^___^"

Uhhhhh, sorry I haven't posted in a while, but it's not like alot of people read this anyway. :P

So for Mother's Day, after Chinese school, my sister. mom, and I went to and art reception that our art teacher was having. We prepared a gift for our mother's by painting them on a small canvas with a wooden frame so that it doesn't have to be framed or anything.

My mom's reaction to my painting of her: "It doesnt look like me."

Thanks, mom.

But she amended for it by saying, "But at least you drew me pretty! Thanks, honey! I feel younger."

Hopefully she wasn't thinking that I actually referred to her actual photo to paint it, cuz the lighting was bad and made her face look oily. So I took a magazine portrait of a Phillipino lady and used that as reference for the lighting and stuff.

I'll probably put up a picture of the portrait later.

Anyway, I discovered a really nice new song by YUI, one of my favorite singers. I especially liked how she ditched her usual guitar for piano, making the song a lot softer and less punk. Her new hairstyle also makes her look a lot older and more like........a mother? xD
It's extremely fitting for Mother's Day, maybe cuz it's called to Mother. Hehe,way to state the obvious, huh?
